UVAFinance seeks applications for a Workday Grants Subject Matter Specialist. The Workday Grants Subject Matter Specialist is a wage (non-exempt) position supporting the OneUVA Workday project. This role brings deep, institutional knowledge of UVA's current Workday Grants configuration to a structured series of project workshops designed to evaluate the existing setup, surface pain points and operational challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement. The Specialist participates directly in these workshops as a grants subject matter expert, articulating how current configuration works in practice, where it falls short of user and operational needs, and what outcomes stakeholders are seeking. Between and following workshops, the Specialist works alongside the Workday Grants Senior Analyst to review recommendations emerging from workshop findings and to support the analysis, documentation, and implementation of approved changes. This position does not carry independent configuration authority; it serves as a critical knowledge bridge between the project team and the operational grants environment. Hiring Range: $50.00 - $65.00/hour To apply, please submit an application online at https://jobs.virginia.edu and attach a current resume and cover letter. Search on requisition number: R0084666. Internal applicants may search and apply for jobs on the UVA Internal Careers website. Applications must be submitted no later than Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 11:59 PM EDT. The University will perform background checks on all new hires prior to employment. This position will also require an Education Verification. This is a wage position which is not eligible for leave or other benefits and is limited to 1500 hours of work in a year.
