Sometimes the most meaningful care isn't a medical intervention-it's listening to a favorite story, sharing a laugh, providing reassurance, or simply being present when it matters most. In this role, you'll perform comprehensive patient assessments, manage symptoms, administer treatments, provide patient and family education, and collaborate with physicians, social workers, home health aides, chaplains, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, individualized care. You'll have the autonomy to manage your day while building trusted relationships with patients and families throughout their hospice journey.This opportunity is ideal for nurses who enjoy working independently, thinking critically, building meaningful connections, and delivering exceptional patient-centered care in the home. This is a full time, 40 hours per week, Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience. This is an exempt, salaried role. For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!
