Position Title: Pega Center of Excellence Lead Location: Remote; Travel to DMV area up to 25% Other Considerations: U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Required) POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a Pega Center of Excellence (COE) Lead to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Digital Transformation Center (DTC). In this role, you will serve as the technical program manager lead for Pega, responsible for driving delivery, managing risk, and leading the Pega team in support of VA mission systems. You will oversee architectural governance, platform operations, and program strategy while ensuring alignment with program objectives and contractual requirements. This role requires a strong combination of technical understanding, program leadership, and team management, with the ability to guide both the team and the customer toward effective, scalable platform outcomes. The role is primarily focused on leadership of the Pega capability, including team performance, proactive risk management, and customer guidance, in addition to technical alignment. The successful candidate will demonstrate proactive leadership, strong risk awareness and predictive risk management, structured execution, and the ability to lead a Center of Excellence with accountability, clarity, and urgency. WORKING CONDITIONS Standard Business hours are Monday through Friday 9AM-5PM. Occasional extended or weekend hours may be required based on operational needs. PAY RANGE The base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $175,000 annually, depending on geographic work location, relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, security clearance, and contract requirements. Geographic salary ranges are determined in accordance with the company's compensation practices and represent a good-faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting.
