The primary duties of this position include all aspects of engineering for solid waste facilities and environmental projects such as landfills, recycling facilities, remediation sites, and waste transfer stations. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to leverage their skills on a variety of infrastructure projects. This position requires a versatile professional that is eager to learn and values the opportunity for professional development through a variety of project assignments. In the role of Civil EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to assist Project Managers/Project Engineers with:
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year general Civil/Environmental experience with an emphasis on environmental compliance, design, permitting, and construction preferred
- EIT certification strongly preferred. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
- Prior experience with field work and environmental regulations is a plus
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation is a plus
- Preference given to local candidates
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related Engineering field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
