MedStar Health is seeking experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (AGACNPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to join our Critical Care teams across the Washington, D.C. region.

As the largest healthcare system in Maryland and the Washington, D.C. area, MedStar offers the opportunity to practice in diverse Critical Care environments-from a nationally recognized academic Level I Trauma Center in downtown Washington, D.C., to collaborative community hospitals throughout suburban Maryland. You'll care for high-acuity patients alongside expert intensivists, surgeons, physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Opportunities are available in both Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Units (ICU) and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Units (CVICU).

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) or Physician Assistant program
  • Current AGACNP or NCCPA certification
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • One or more years of APP experience in Critical Care, ICU, CVICU, Hospital Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Trauma, or Surgical Critical Care preferred
