Department 10026 Space PlanningPay Range $123,635.20 - $206,065.60About the Role: The Senior Architect will report to the Vice President of Facility Space Planning and Construction and will plan, schedule and manage large scale strategic projects to achieve organizational objectives within defined timeframe, scope and budget. Responsible for project workplan development and measurement, establishment of project communication and implementation of risk management plans. Will be responsible for Capital project budget preparation. Will lead and manage the planning and design of projects, including but not limited to managing feasibility studies, project programming and all design phases, project contract administration, monitoring project schedules, monitoring budgets, providing cash flow analysis and projections and processing change orders and pay applications. Will work with the Directors of Construction, Space Planning & Program Management and Engineering to coordinate schedules, finance and logistical matters with contractors, design professionals and impacted CNMC personnel. Will work cooperatively with strategic planners to assure projects meet stakeholders expectations and are financially viable before construction is initiated. Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree Bachelor of Architecture or related graphic design degree (Required) Required Licenses Architecture- Licensed to practice in Maryland, Virginia or D.C. (Required) Required Certifications Green Building- LEED AP, or similar (preferred) Certified Healthcare Architect- ACHA (preferred) Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification- EDAC (preferred) Minimum Work Experience

The disclosed salary range includes the minimum and maximum rates within which Children's National believes an individual's base pay rate will fall for this position.
