*Professional Summary* The Customer Care Coordinator supports the Customer Care team within CarePayment by performing administrative, clerical, and account maintenance functions that ensure efficient back-office operations. This role plays a key part in supporting patient financing services by processing documentation, managing office coordination tasks, and assisting with customer inquiries. The position requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to work across multiple systems. The ideal candidate brings a combination of administrative experience, data entry accuracy, and a commitment to delivering professional, solutions-oriented support.
*Key Responsibilities* * Process incoming and outgoing mail, including payments, automatic payment authorizations, bankruptcy documentation, and financial notices. * Support account maintenance by locating accounts, posting payments, and assisting with non-conforming payment processing. * Manage front office operations, including greeting visitors, handling deliveries, and coordinating office supply intake. * Collaborate with Customer Care and Client Support teams to resolve written customer inquiries, balance disputes, and refund requests. * Respond to customer inquiries received via mail and online channels using company-approved communication templates. * Maintain accurate physical and electronic filing systems in accordance with document retention and compliance requirements. * Assist with compliance audits, including data validation, document review, and preparation of required reports. * Perform high-volume data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. * Support the creation and updating of internal templates, procedural documentation, and process improvements. * Contribute to operational projects and provide general administrative and clerical support as needed. *Qualifications* * High school diploma or equivalent required. * 2+ years of experience in an administrative, clerical, or office support role. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word (required). * Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail. * Experience with office coordination or front desk responsibilities preferred. * Working knowledge of customer service principles and professional communication practices. * Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems and software applications simultaneously. * Understanding of HIPAA and/or financial privacy regulations preferred. * Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly document and convey information. * Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple responsibilities. * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. * Strong sense of initiative, adaptability, and ownership of assigned responsibilities. * Ability to read handwritten or cursive documents. * Ability to lift up to 20 pounds as needed. *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, OR. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
