If you're looking for a hands-on career with strong earning potential and long-term stability, Foley Equipment's Fast Track Program offers a direct path into the diesel industry. In just 12 weeks, you'll gain paid training, real-world shop experience, and the opportunity to transition into a full-time Caterpillar technician role. Foley Equipment is the authorized Caterpillar dealer in Kansas and northwest Missouri, with over 90 years of industry leadership. About the Program This is a full-time, paid 12-week internship designed to fast-track your entry into a technician career. Start Date: Mid-July 2026 (exact date to be confirmed) Phase 1: 6 weeks of paid classroom and lab training Phase 2: 6 weeks of paid, hands-on shop experience Work alongside experienced technicians and dedicated mentors Receive Caterpillar dealer-specific technical training Travel may be required, including 3-4 consecutive weekdays for off-site training during the program Upon successful completion, you will be eligible for consideration for a full-time technician position. The employee must be able to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation. These functions may include: Lifting components weighing up to 115 pounds, with or without assistance Frequent pushing, pulling, and carrying of heavy materials Climbing on and off equipment and working at varying heights Standing, bending, and working in physically demanding positions for extended periods Safely operating tools and equipment Post-Offer, Pre-Employment Requirements Final candidates will receive a conditional offer of employment contingent upon successfully completing a post-offer, pre-employment process.
