Our Phillips-Medisize MedTech Team is a global team that is hiring for our Director of Regional Sales position to lead our expanding U.S. sales team. This role will lead a strategic effort to grow profitable sales in the MedTech market through the process of assessment, intelligence gathering, generating sales leads, and following the sales pipeline process. They will manage the US sales team and develop solid relationships between assigned accounts and Phillips-Medisize's leadership and working teams.

This is a remote role that will be based in the US focusing on accounts in the Americas as well as operating on a global scale, requiring domestic and international travel in effort to collaborate with internal and external customers. There is a preference that this role is located in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, but all US locations will be considered.

What You Will Do

  • Manage and grow the America's Regional Sales team, embracing the role of the supervisor
  • Identify market/customer trends, unmet market needs and product opportunities in the MedTech markets where Phillips-Medisize capabilities can create value and mutual benefit with our respective customers
  • Communicate the 5-year growth strategy to business stakeholders and customers in a clear and compelling way that creates alignment and drives execution
  • Medical business development, selling design & development services, validation, clinical builds, tooling, clean room molding, drug handling and contract manufacturing of finished drug-delivery devices
  • Develop a MedTech pipeline and follow the sales funnel process from prospect to sustaining customer to increase development and production sales
  • Responsible for customer RFQ's, participating in the development of new project proposals, negotiating master development and supply agreements
  • Build strong relationships with customers at all levels, including C-suite, to grow sales and manage existing work
  • Foster partnerships between customers and the internal product development, manufacturing, quality, and management teams
  • Develop positive working relationships with all internal disciplines, teams, and management
  • Support the team managing the base business in the region, including supporting pricing discussions, escalations, and overall account strategies

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in business marketing or engineering
  • Sales management experience
  • Experience developing new medical customers, markets, and technologies
  • Experience with P&L's and Balance Sheets
  • Experience working in a CDMO organization, selling endtoend design, development, and manufacturing services.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Master's degree in Business Marketing or engineering
  • Experience with product development, contract manufacturing and associated processes

For this role, we anticipate paying $165,000-$225,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
