From your PASSION to ours Lactalis Heritage Dairy, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Cheese Feeder based in Tulare. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Feta Cheese Feeder's main responsibility is to feed cheese onto the conveyor. From From your EXPERTISE to ours Key responsibilities for this position include: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: * Weigh cheese. * Recover empty trays for packaging. * Must remove and unload packaged cheese and feed cheese onto conveyors and or place cheese into master cartons and or onto pallets. * Monitor quality cheese packaging and labeling and print quality and accuracy of printed coding. * Perform sanitation on equipment and area. * Refills towel dispensers * Refills hand soap * Refills hand sanitizer * Daily MSS * Provide coverage so that team members can attend meetings, cross-train, and or work on projects. * Commitment to housekeeping in both workspace area and FETA department. * Learn multiple jobs as determined by team consensus. * Assist with period cleaning, downtime, TPM, and other production needs including emergency situations. * Follow all Safety procedures and guidelines. * Communicate and pass down business information. * Complete failure analysis including root cause and corrective action. * Actively identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. * Assist with equipment troubleshooting and support maintenance when needed. * Perform other assignments as needed by the team or Steering team. * Regular Attendance is an essential function of the job. Comply with all policies and procedures as related to our LHD Daily Management Systems. Requirements
From your STORY to ours Qualifications: * Understand and troubleshoot excel at basic level. * Be able to calculate milk components to ensure product is made consistently within the standard specifications. * Specialized training or licenses relevant to job. * Good business participation (ie: safety, process improvement). * Performed similar positions in the past. * A majority of the time is spent working on a computer and observing the milk filling process, ensuring all ingredients are being added and each step in the process are executed. * Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook. * Must be able to become proficient in Meridian and other systems. * Also, needs to be able to complete office tasks such as faxing, copying, scanning, and filing. Qualified applicants will contribute the following: * Must work in a safe, sanitary and productive manner in accordance to LHD GMP's. * Documented job performance work record and attendance record to be reviewed. * Specialized training or licenses relevant to job. * Good business participation (eg.
