About the role In this role, you will lead a unified product strategy across the organization, aligning cross-team efforts and driving clear, actionable roadmaps. You'll mentor and develop a high-performing product team while partnering closely with developers and engineers as your primary customers. Operating at the intersection of infrastructure and operations, you'll use your technical fluency and leadership to influence partners, build strong cross-functional relationships, and create clarity and momentum in a complex environment. Check out our Symetra Benefits Overview Compensation Salary Range: $171,300 - $285,600 plus eligibility for the company annual bonus program. Who You Are: You have a high school diploma (required), plus a Bachelor's degree in a related field. 12-15 years of cumulative, relevant experience in product management, infrastructure, and/or engineering environments Deep expertise in AWS and strong knowledge of the engineering and infrastructure landscape Experienced in building structure and processes in evolving environments Skilled at creating and refining user stories, with a clear understanding of what drives organizational value Proven people leader with experience directly managing a team Straightforward and transparent communicator who provides clear, direct feedback Self-aware-confident in areas of expertise and comfortable asking questions when needed Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and execution Data-driven decision maker who uses insights to guide priorities and outcomes Some minimal annual travel required (for people manager roles only) Travel: Required Training & Professional Development All newly hired people leaders with direct reports are required to complete a comprehensive leadership development program within their first year. This program includes both virtual and in-person training. The in-person sessions will take place at Symetra's corporate headquarters in Bellevue, Washington.
