Position Summary:
The Senior Administrative Assistant serves as a key member of the Executive support team and functions as the primary administrative partner to the General Counsel and two Senior Vice Presidents. This role also serves as the secondary executive support resource for the CEO's office, providing coverage and continuity in the absence of the Executive Assistant to the CEO.
This is a highly visible, trusted position requiring sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to operate independently in a fastpaced pharmaceutical executive environment. The ideal candidate is polished, proactive, and comfortable supporting multiple senior leaders while managing competing priorities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide highlevel administrative support to the General Counsel and two SVPs, including complex calendar management, meeting coordination, and preparation of materials.
  • Serve as backup support to the CEO and CFO as needed, ensuring continuity of coverage and seamless execution during periods of absence or high volume.
  • Coordinate domestic travel arrangements and prepare executive expense reports in compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare and format meeting materials, presentations, and executive correspondence using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internal systems.
Coordination & Office Partnership
  • Act as a close partner to the Executive Assistant to the CEO, supporting broader executive office operations and stepping in as needed.
  • Anticipate executive needs, proactively identify potential scheduling or priority conflicts, and propose solutions.
  • Interface effectively with internal stakeholders, HR, Legal, Finance, and external partners with professionalism and discretion.
Confidentiality & Judgment
  • Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost integrity.
  • Exercise sound judgment in decisionmaking and escalation, particularly when supporting the CEO's office.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives; pharmaceutical or life sciences experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multiple senior leaders simultaneously in a complex organization.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a polished executive presence.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook calendar management.
  • Experience with Oracle iExpense (or similar expense platforms) preferred.
  • Comfort using AIenabled tools to improve productivity and workflow efficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
Salary Range
The expected annual base salary for this Bridgewater, NJ based position is $60,000 - $82,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee on the payment date.

Physical requirements
