Overview

The IT Program Manager is responsible for managing a program of projects and operates at a senior organizational level, coordinating multiple project managers to ensure consistent execution and messaging across projects.

This role is responsible for implementing project execution plans, managing project teams, and partnering within TRC to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with client and organizational objectives. The Program Manager must embrace collaboration and demonstrate strong leadership and management skills consistent with TRC's core values.


Responsibilities

  • Communicate directly with the Client Representative and the Director, Field Services to report progress, identify issues, and propose resolution strategies for risks or obstacles impeding project completion
  • Manage and monitor project and program budgets; forecast and reforecast
  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of projects to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, and budget
  • Develop project and work plans as needed by a Project.
  • Utilize TRC and client technology platforms to plan, track, and manage projects effectively
  • Ensure consistent communication and messaging to stakeholders across all projects
  • Lead risk identification, assessment, mitigation planning, and corrective action execution
  • Maintain accountability for project activities; identify adverse trends and implement corrective measures to protect overall performance
  • Review requirements and develop written Execution Plans outlining the activities required to meet client and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure personnel are properly oriented upon project assignment, including schedules, policies, safety requirements, emergency response, and quality assurance procedures. Also ensure resource effectiveness, scheduling, and availability.
  • Assign tasks to personnel and ensure clear understanding of documentation, reporting requirements, and timelines
  • Monitor staff performance, documentation quality, and professional conduct; provide coaching, feedback, motivation, or disciplinary action as appropriate
  • Monitor compliance with project requirements and identify scope changes or variances in schedule or budget
  • Implement and document approved work scope changes while maintaining schedule and budget objectives whenever possible
  • Provide leadership and oversight to staff, including survey, title, acquisition, document control, administrative, non-environmental permitting, and construction support teams
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to clients and internal leadership
  • Release assigned personnel as project responsibilities are completed
  • Conduct complex negotiations and perform additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Work as an agent for TRC to develop and capture new business opportunities

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in an applicable field preferred
  • Must have at least 8 years of project or program management experience, including management of multiple concurrent projects
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing client-facing programs
  • PMP certification preferred

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation:Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $155,001.60 - USD $162,240.00 /Yr.
