Position Summary

The Digital & IT Senior Analyst should have hands-on experience with software development, systems/data analysis, solution design and project management. You will play a key role in understanding business need and technical requirements, designing solutions, configuring and implementing digital, IT and data solutions for the division.

Part of your role will also involve supporting & enhancing the production solutions for reliable functional performance by conducting root cause analysis & performing corrective actions by collaborating with business stakeholders and IT teams to drive improvements.

Scope/Supervision and Interaction

Responsibilities

  • Full-stack application development: Design, develop, test, deploy, and support web applications enabling manufacturing workflows (e.g., React/Angular with C#/.NET or Python).

  • IT/OT systems integration: Design and maintain APIs/interfaces across MES, ERP, SCADA, data historians, and other plant systems to ensure reliable, secure data exchange.

  • IIoT & data acquisition: Implement connectivity to PLCs/sensors and standardize machine/line data into usable events, metrics, and contextualized datasets.

  • Manufacturing data visualization & reporting: Deliver dashboards and reporting for KPIs (e.g., OEE, downtime, throughput, quality) for operators through leadership.

  • Operational support & reliability: Troubleshoot production systems, perform structured root-cause analysis, implement corrective/preventive actions, and participate in after-hours/on-call support as needed.

  • Solution design & documentation: Produce and maintain technical documentation (architecture diagrams, integration specifications, data flows) and ensure solutions meet security, reliability, and maintainability expectations.

  • Project delivery & cross-functional coordination: Lead technical execution for initiatives using Agile and/or Waterfall methods; coordinate with Group IT/COE, enterprise development/architecture teams, plant stakeholders, and third-party vendors; communicate status, risks, decisions, and implementation readiness through project closure.

  • Standards & SDLC/DevOps alignment: Align solutions to approved technology stacks, integration patterns, coding standards, and SDLC/DevOps practices; contribute to improving these practices where appropriate.

  • Systems analysis & continuous improvement: Analyze systems/processes, interpret data to identify gaps, and recommend improvements aligned to business needs and site priorities.

  • Knowledge sharing (no people management): Mentor peers through code reviews, design reviews, documentation, and cross-training; promote feedback and continuous improvement.

  • Travel: Ability to travel as needed.


Qualifications

Competencies Required

  • Demonstrated experience delivering manufacturing IT solutions and/or integrations in environments such as MES, SCADA, LIMS, IIoT, or data historians.

  • Strong full stack development capability (modern UI + backend services) and solid software engineering fundamentals.

  • Hands-on integration experience including REST APIs, event-based integrations, and/or middleware/automation tooling.

  • Working knowledge of data platforms and patterns: SQL, ETL, and data warehouse/lake concepts.

  • Proven troubleshooting capability in production environments, including root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

  • Practical project execution experience working with cross-functional stakeholders (Agile and/or Waterfall).

  • Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure DevOps

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related area (Or international equivalent)

  • 4+ years related IT experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills, relates well with all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrated leadership aptitude, learning agility, and adaptability

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively
