What You'll Be Doing...

Leadership:

  • Leading a strong internal data analytics team to support the business.

  • Partnering with others to understand business challenges.

  • Crafting creative approaches to uncover the biggest opportunities for cost and time savings.

  • Defining and driving the analytics strategy and modeling approaches.

  • Driving the adoption of analytics in decision making.

Data Science:

  • Design, implement, and orchestrate advanced AI solutions, including Generative AI and autonomous agent workflows (e.g., multi-agent systems), to automate complex processes and generate novel insights.

  • Research and build proof-of-concept models utilizing various machine learning techniques & traditional statistical techniques to drive optimal business decisions for various use cases like call-routing, revenue growth through initiatives like driving Walmart+ and other subscriptions, and scale these models into production using established MLOps pipelines for continuous monitoring and lifecycle management.

  • Advanced knowledge of experimental design and testing frameworks like A/B testing, Multi-armed Bandit testing etc. to guide optimal decisions across various key base-management initiatives related to churn reduction, revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Analytics & Data Enablement:

  • Work on building either cloud-based predictive modeling solutions (AWS/GCP using Pyspark or similar tools) or general predictive solutions depending on the use case, architecting scalable MLOps frameworks for continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and automated model retraining.

  • Synthesize predictive insights to concrete business actions and collaborate with teams across the value organization (Finance / Marketing / Operations / GTS / AI&D etc.) to drive successful business outcomes.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Strong Predictive / Prescriptive modeling experience.

  • Demonstrated experience developing Large Language Model (LLM) applications and agentic workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar technologies.

  • Proven background in MLOps practices, including model deployment, pipeline automation, and proficiency with lifecycle management tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes, Vertex AI, or AWS SageMaker).

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (/R) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik or native Python or other libraries like Plotly/Streamlit etc).

  • Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) is highly preferred.

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience leading a team and managing large complex projects involving multiple work streams and stakeholders.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Strong storytelling to drive recommendations based on the data analysis and articulate trade offs and communication plan to senior executives.

  • Ability to translate complex ideas and express them in concise, simple to understand ways.

  • Proven ability to take initiative, influence others and achieve results.

  • Experience gathering, organizing and analyzing large amounts of information.

  • Experience presenting ideas and content to a variety of stakeholders at various levels.

  • Experience working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.

  • Advanced research, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to see things not readily apparent to others and to find unique solutions to complex challenges.

  • Experience managing and influencing relationships at the senior executive level. Ability to present and interact with all levels of management.

  • Excels at working under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines with frequent interruptions and redefined priorities.

  • Skilled and comfortable at working within the marketing matrix.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $126,000.00 - $242,000.00. The annual salary range for the Illinois location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $138,500.00 - $242,000.00. The annual salary range for the New York location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $138,500.00 - $242,000.00.
