Overview

We are seeking a Merchandise Planner to support the growth of our EU digital and retail business across multiple categories. This role will play a key part in driving sales performance, optimizing inventory, and improving assortment strategies through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working with large and complex datasets, and experienced in retail or ecommerce planning. You will partner closely with merchandising, digital, forecasting, and logistics teams to ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time to maximize sales and profitability.


Key Responsibilities
Merchandise Planning & Analytics

  • Develop and manage sales plans and inventory strategies for EU digital channels
  • Analyze sales trends, inventory performance, and assortment productivity to identify risks and opportunities
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize assortment mix, tiering, and product performance
  • Partner with merchandising teams to support product launches, lifecycle management, and markdown strategies
  • Contribute to monthly and seasonal planning discussions with actionable business insights
  • Ensure accuracy of digital activation dates and product data across planning and merchandising systems
  • Support cross-functional alignment on international product workflows and data handoffs


Inventory Management

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels across EU distribution channels and fulfillment centers
  • Support in-season inventory adjustments to improve sell-through and reduce markdown exposure
  • Partner with forecasting, deployment, and logistics teams to align inventory flow and demand planning
  • Provide volume projections and support distribution center planning needs
  • Ensure alignment between inventory strategy and broader brand deployment plans


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, large dataset analysis)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in merchandise planning, inventory planning, or retail planning
  • Ability to interpret complex and ambiguous data sets
  • Strong time management and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
  • Experience in retail, ecommerce, or consumer-focused businesses


Preferred Experience

  • Experience in apparel, fashion, or global retail environments
  • Exposure to international or EU market planning
  • Background in Merchandise Planning & Analysis (MP&A)
  • Experience with assortment planning, tiering, or product lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with demand planning, forecasting, or inventory optimization processes
  • Experience working with planning tools or enterprise retail systems
