Role Mission
As a Sales Operations Specialist, your focus will be supporting sales & post-sale transactional activities to provide a successful customer experience for our clients, improving execution and remove barriers for the Inside Sales team and Account Managers. Duties include open order tracking and management of dates, accurate transactional processing of specialized order types (shop modifications, E&I, exchange programs, on-site services, etc.), ensure ERP integrity with item creation and pricing accuracy, processing customer return requests along with widespread support duties. You will serve as a key liaison between Kurz and our customers (both external and internal).
Onsite and virtual training will be provided to perform these tasks and duties.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Understand operational processes across all departments including warehouse, sales, sales support, and customer service functions.
  • Perform transactional creation and follow-through on item setup, quote creation, sales order processing, and purchase order entry
  • Understand warehouse and fulfillment activities including pick ticket management, receiving activities, inventory movement, shipment creation, expediting activities, customer walk-ins
  • Ability to learn the technical side of our businesses such as Motors, VFD's, Controls, Bearings, Gearboxes and PT Components
  • Review customer orders for accuracy, margin enhancement, and completeness before processing
  • Create and maintain accurate item records in ERP systems to support quoting, ordering, and inventory visibility
  • Track shipping statuses and update customers proactively
  • Respond to post-sale inquiries and ensure follow-up within 24 hours
  • Ensure ERP reflects accurate tracking and status data for internal and external visibility
  • Develop strong supplier/vendor relationships to obtain accurate information regarding availability, shipment, and delivery dates.
  • Assist in troubleshooting inventory, shipping issues, and expedite back orders if needed.
  • Effectively use our CRM/ERP platform to communicate with our team and customers using tasks, events, and opportunities to further new and/or existing business

Specialty Service Responsibilities
  • On-Site service coordination and transaction management
  • Coordinate warranty claims with vendors and manufacturers
  • Communication and transaction coordination of third-party service contractors for all Kurz locations
  • Shop modification creation, coordination and transaction management
  • Ensure accurate NetSuite Pricing and margin review and enhancement activities
  • Liaison between System Integrator Customers and Kurz
  • Past due Sales order and Purchase order Review
  • Update NetSuite with Purchase order Acknowledgement and shipping statuses
  • Motor exchange program service activities
