Salary Range: $80,000 - $86,000
Senior Program Director
The Senior Program Director oversees and assists with the daily operations and leadership tasks of the residential programs, ensuring a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for youth and families. This role supervises staff, provides guidance to program directors, coordinates services, maintains compliance with licensing and accreditation standards, and supports overall program effectiveness. The Senior Program Director collaborates closely with Senior Clinician as well as other members within the leadership and operational teams, community providers to ensure high-quality care and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain leadership and oversight of assigned residential program daily operations
- Supervise program coordinator, supervisors, and direct care staff and complete staff performance evaluations
- Provide oversight to program directors and assist with their operational (staffing, scheduling, training) or client-related inquiries
- Assist in the development of staff training, coaching, and identifying professional growth opportunities
- Lead staff meetings, trainings, and residential operations meetings
- Coordinate campus activities, treatment programming, and recreational programming
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation, reports, and incident reviews
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic residential environment
- Participate in treatment meetings, service planning, and admissions reviews
- Collaborate with clinicians, families, and external providers to support client care
- Participate in on-call coverage and respond to critical incidents as needed
- Monitor program quality and support performance improvement initiatives
- Assist with program budgeting and oversight of program expenses
- Ensure compliance with agency policies, licensing standards, and regulatory requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Residential Operations
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in related Human Services Field
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience supervising teams in a residential or human services setting
- Knowledge of residential care operations, licensing, and compliance standards
- Ability to manage crises and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to trauma-informed care, diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Proficiency with documentation systems and technology platforms
