We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist who thrives in fast-paced, high-precision environments. In this role, you'll take ownership of inventory accuracy, material flow, and system integrity across warehouse and lab operations. You'll support engineering teams by ensuring materials are received, tracked, staged, and delivered efficiently while maintaining exceptional accuracy and organization.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, highly organized, and naturally skilled at spotting discrepancies and resolving issues before they become problems. Experience with Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs), especially from Kardex or Snap-on, is highly valued.

What You'll Do:
  • Maintain data integrity within inventory management systems
  • Receive, store, and ensure accurate tracking of all warehouse materials
  • Monitor inventory dashboards and fulfill real-time material requests from engineers
  • Pick, stage, and coordinate material deliveries and pickups
  • Investigate discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Execute cycle counts, audits, and inventory accuracy checks
  • Manage material dispositions including RTS, scrap, RMA, NCi, cleaning vendor transfers, and offsite storage
  • Coordinate RMAs and resolve shipment or supplier discrepancies
  • Support cross-functional teams including Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Engineering
  • Assist with wafer cage operations and lab-based inventory tasks as needed
  • Contribute to 5S initiatives, material purges, audits, and continuous improvement projects
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • 1+ year of inventory control experience in warehouse, lab, or manufacturing environments
  • 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or materials handling
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
What Sets You Apart:
  • Experience working with inventory systems or ERP platforms such as SAP
  • Experience with Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs) strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • High attention to detail with proven ability to identify and correct discrepancies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities
  • Experience in lab environments or handling sensitive/high-value materials
  • Familiarity with 5S, process improvement, or warehouse optimization practices
Additional Information:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Role requires standing, walking, bending, and physical activity for extended periods
  • Must be able to type at least 50 WPM and perform 10-key data entry
  • Background check required upon offer
  • Overtime may be required based on operational needs
  • Lab environment may require occasional use of protective lab gear (as needed)
