As a Clinical Research Coordinator -- PET/NM Technologist, you will be responsible for implementing, administering, and continually enhancing the imaging research process. This role works closely with internal and external resources to create and update protocols and ensure appropriate communications and agreements are set in place. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday; 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (50%) Research Management
- Manage research projects from draft agreement through completion, including tracking, setting up billing and reporting on volumes and revenue
- Track study and documentation expirations/renewals
- Collect, review and follow-up on requests for research agreements and acquire signatures
- Draft research agreements for approved requests and partners, including having legal review the final agreements
- Aggregate necessary protocols for each new agreement, including outside Institutional Review Board (IRB) documentation.
- Coordinate studies between internal and external research resources
- Manage internal communications for research studies using Market Knowledgebase or other companywide approved platform, to ensure proper scheduling, administration, special instructions/requests from clients, and consent form usage.
(35%) Research Liaison
- Partner with the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team to determine appropriate pricing for each research agreement using approved company tools and quoting structure guidelines.
- Coordinate with Site Management Organizations and vendors, as appropriate, to facilitate new research opportunities
- Collaborate with internal marketing and/or QA/training teams to manage communications and facilitate training for our research services
- Work closely with portfolio directors and clinical trial managers to identify vendors in markets of need.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and research site team members.
- Facilitate study startup between vendors and research sites.
- Function as a liaison between the study sites and vendors.
- Ensure all regulatory documents are accurate and complete
- Facilitate secure image transfer between vendor and TRRI as required
- Ensure all images are uploaded to the appropriate portal per study guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of services performed
- Ensure the confidentiality of all health information as required by Florida Statues, HIPPA, and GCP guidelines
- Verify and submit vendor invoices for payment
- Submit monthly study reports to billing department for invoicing
(10%) Mentor/Lead Local Research Team Members
- Provides training and education to team members
- Mentor and support local research team members and applicable projects
(5%) Other duties and projects as assigned Required:
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology; may consider an associate's degree from an accredited program with applicable experience.
- Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
- Registered/licensed in PET Technologist, or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Certification, in good standing
- Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
- Certification in imaging specialty
- Five (5) years' PET/Nuc Med Technologist experience
- Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform PET/Nuclear Medicine procedures independently
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Certification in ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support)
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine
- Bilingual
