For a limited time, Maine Medical Center is offering up to $3,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Pharmacy Technicians!

o Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time Pharmacy Technician position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

o Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary:

The Pharmacy Technician - Procurement & Logistics role is responsible for purchasing, receiving, storing, distributing, and maintaining the inventory of medications and supplies; processing purchase orders and invoices; managing medication recalls; and ensuring compliance with all medication supply chain requirements.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current or eligible for applicable state(s) license as a Pharmacy Technician. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required.
  3. Experience: Three years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician required
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient in inventory systems and online ordering platforms. Knowledge of FDA standards, controlled substance regulations, and hazardous drug handling. Strong communication and collaboration skills with vendors, pharmacists, and clinical staff.
