Our Banking Operations Client Services Consulting team is seeking a Business Consultant III to join our team. In this role, you will work with banks that are new to the SilverLake Core System, supporting preconversion and implementation readiness engagements. This position will be focused on Loan Operations.

Consultants conduct onsite and remote engagements with client staff to support report comparisons, preconversion product and parameter preparation, and operational readiness activities related to SilverLake conversions. Consultants assess front and backoffice processes, provide systemaligned recommendations, and help ensure clients are prepared for successful implementation. The ideal candidate is detailoriented, selfmotivated, and an effective communicator, with strong verbal and written communication skills, who can work comfortably with both senior leadership and daytoday system users.

This position may be worked remotely within the United States, with the exception of California.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Conduct onsite and remote customer operational and/or system consulting engagements in support of SilverLake conversions.
  • Work with bank staff to review currentstate reports and operational processes and identify comparable SilverLake reports or the need for bankdefined solutions.
  • Facilitate structured discussions with client operations teams to support completion of SilverLake product and parameter design worksheets.
  • Support preconversion product design preparation activities across loan or deposit operations, depending on assigned focus area.
  • Assess front and backoffice processes and provide systemaligned recommendations to support conversion readiness and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and deliverables that clearly document findings, recommendations, and considerations impacting conversion efforts.
  • Communicate effectively with customers about Jack Henry products, services, and solutions to support strong client relationships and retention.
  • Participate in sales activities and proposal presentations as needed, while supporting ongoing team and account responsibilities.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • At least 5 years of experience working within the banking industry.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience supporting bank deposit back office operations.
  • Experience with the Jack Henry SilverLake Core System, specifically the Deposit application, including operational workflows, parameter setup and maintenance.
  • Ability to travel up to 35%, typically one trip per month lasting up to one week, with additional travel as needed based on client requirements.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and develop practical solutions.
  • Communicate and interact professionally with employees, customers, and vendors.
