Position Details

Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 5:30am-4:00pm
Shift: 1st
Overtime: Required as business needs

What You'll Do -

You will lead daily inventory operations while supporting material flow, team performance, and production readiness.

Team Leadership & Coordination:



  • Lead and support inventory team members to meet daily material and production requirements
  • Balance manpower across the team to ensure efficient workflow and coverage
  • Assign work based on employee strengths, skill level, and daily production needs
  • Serve as a working lead, modeling high standards in performance, attendance, and safety
  • Provide guidance, answer technical questions, and support employees in resolving issues
  • Assist with onboarding and transitioning new team members into assigned areas
  • Promote a safe, qualityfocused, and teamoriented work environment


Inventory & Material Control Operations:



  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely supply of materials to production areas
  • Perform key inventory functions, including:


    • Data entry of pick lists
    • Receiving processes
    • Order Processing Management (OPM) activities


  • Ensure pick lists are processed accurately and on time to meet production demands
  • Maintain inventory location accuracy and support inventory tracking efforts
  • Act as a backup to perform all core inventory job functions as needed


Problem Solving & Process Improvement:



  • Identify and remove bottlenecks affecting material flow or productivity
  • Take ownership of assigned area and support decisionmaking to improve operations
  • Initiate corrective actions, including maintenance requests or process adjustments
  • Support continuous improvement efforts, including 5S and GoodtoGo walkthroughs
  • Assist the Materials Supervisor in tracking team performance and operational metrics


Safety, Equipment & Compliance:



  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes safely and effectively
  • Maintain proper handling and storage of materials
  • Promote and sustain safety, quality, and productivity standards within the team

  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and crossfunctional departments
  • Work independently while maintaining strong teamwork and collaboration
  • Maintain reliable attendance and support mandatory overtime
  • Perform all tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate, and highly productive manner

  • Perform additional duties as assigned


What You Bring -

Education & Experience:



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in Inventory, Materials Control, or manufacturing environments


Licenses & Certifications:



  • Forklift certification
  • Crane certification


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:



  • Experience with inventory systems, materials flow, and manufacturing operations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot operational and inventory issues
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with a positive attitude
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills

This position requires the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
