The Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in enabling informed decision-making across Financial Services by delivering accurate, timely, and actionable financial insights. This position owns core financial reporting, forecasting, and data integrity while partnering with Business Units to improve transparency, efficiency, and scalability of financial processes. The role contributes to organizational objectives by providing Business Unit leaders with financial analysis and insights enabling them to make informed strategic decisions and helping to modernize financial analytics capabilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Financial Data & Analytics

  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and accuracy of financial dashboards, reports, and analytical models that deliver actionable insights to Finance leadership and Business Units.
  • Independently, analyze, research, and interpret complex financial and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and recommend data-driven solutions.

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Provides guidance, training and financial expertise to business units in support of the budget and quarterly forecast process ensuring the financial plans align with corporate goals.
  • Develop and communicate monthly financial performance reporting and insights-including revenue, expenses, margins, cost trends, risks, and opportunities-to Business Unit leaders, Cross Functional Teams, and the CFO to enable management to make appropriate financial decisions.

Technology, Systems & Process Improvement

  • Drive reporting, analytics, and process improvements across FP&A by leveraging financial systems and data platforms to improve efficiency and data quality.
  • Attend training to learn new technology for skill development.
  • Explore and pilot advanced analytics, AI-enabled tools, and automation opportunities to enhance forecasting, reporting, and financial insights.

Business Partnership & Influence

  • Serve as a trusted finance and analytics partner to Business Unit leaders and executive stakeholders, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Communicate complex financial and analytical insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences and build effective relationships that influence decision-making.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, data visualization and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple enterprise sources.
  • Proven track record of using data and insights to drive business decisions and improve business processes.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Netsuite, Adaptive, Power BI or other modern data visualization/financial systems tools.
  • Prior experience supporting cross-functional financial transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled forecasting or analytics tools.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Limited Travel.
  • Standard office environment.
