RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Perform a wide variety of cost analysis and estimation for government clients in the aviation industry in support of acquisition programs.
  • Provide analytical solutions, including development of program life cycle cost estimates (LCCEs), alternative analyses, economic analysis, and other business case documentation.
  • Conduct data collection and analysis, life cycle cost estimating, model development, cost risk analysis, affordability assessments, cost-benefit analysis, and other technical analyses as needed.
  • Coordinate and lead tasking, develop and review quality, on-time deliverables, make identifiable contributions to customer success
  • Define project direction and ensure use of technical best practices
  • Contribute effectively to working groups through oral and written communication
  • Develop cooperative working relationships, anticipate customer needs, and problem solve on their behalf
  • Serve as a role-model for a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment and coach, support, and train staff on technical competencies
  • Advance technical best practices through maintenance of guidance, templates, and reference materials
  • Lead critical proposal or capture activities for new opportunities and with current customers and organizations


REQUIREMENTS



  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business, finance, economics, math, engineering, or operations research. Master's Degree is desired.
  • 20 years of relevant experience
  • Recognized as a subject matter expert in Cost Analysis, Lifecycle Cost Estimation, and cost model development.
  • High level of proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office products.
  • Strong analytical background and good interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in cost analysis and proficiency in use of cost estimating and risk tools such as ACEIT, SEER-SEM, @RISK and Crystal Ball.
  • Knowledge of government acquisition processes and experience in the development of models and databases is desired
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for a US Public Trust security clearance.
