As an Associate Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst at TD SYNNEX, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring global software license compliance, optimizing costs, and supporting our IT and business teams with actionable insights. You'll manage our SAM tools and licensing database, produce compliance dashboards, and lead initiatives that drive continuous process improvements. What You'll Do

  • License Compliance & Optimization (30%)
  • Administer and maintain our SAM tool and licensing database.
  • Collect proof of entitlements, review licensing terms, and upload agreements to ensure an accurate, up-to-date software inventory.
  • Analyze usage metrics, identify licensing variances, and recommend cost-saving optimization strategies.
  • Request Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement (40%)
  • Serve as the primary interface for software requests, reviewing submissions against compliance standards and business requirements.
  • Challenge justifications when needed and propose alternative solutions that balance user needs with licensing guidelines.
  • Advise global IT and business partners on software usage rights, helping them understand terms and avoid non-compliant installations.
  • Global Compliance Monitoring (20%)
  • Partner with IT and business communities worldwide to gather software deployment data and monitor subscription counts.
  • Coordinate cleanup efforts for redundant or unauthorized installations and escalate breaches promptly.
  • Continuous Improvement & Reporting (10%)
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and compliance reports for IT leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Identify process gaps, implement best-practice workflows, and drive ongoing enhancements to our SAM framework.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.* Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data management.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build relationships across multicultural teams.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new SAM and IT asset management tools quickly.* Comfortable working under deadlines, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining confidentiality. Preferred* Master's degree or postgraduate certification in IT Asset Management, Software Licensing, or related field.* Experience with leading SAM platforms (e.g., Flexera, Snow, ServiceNow).* Familiarity with software licensing models (perpetual, subscription, SaaS) and vendor contract nuances.* Basic understanding of IT asset lifecycle and procurement processes.
