Job Description

Ensuring a proactive safety and quality excellence culture, systems, and processes for all employees within a manufacturing site. Provides comprehensive EHS and Quality support to the plant. This includes driving implementation of Amcor EHS and Quality programs to ensure safe people and safe products that meet or exceed regulatory and company standards that leads to top delivery

for our customers.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Lead in implementing and maintaining EHS and Quality programs, policies, improvement and sustainment initiatives, and compliance requirements.
  • Promote a proactive safety and quality culture to reduce risk, injuries, and environmental impact while deliver quality product.
  • Administer and/or develop and sustain procedures, including risk assessments and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate and deliver training (new hire, annual, and ongoing), ensuring regulatory and company compliance.
  • Conduct internal and external audits (EHS, GMP, quality systems), including preparation, reporting, corrective actions, and follow-up.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the various components of the Quality System in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and other external Customer requirements
  • Perform compliance assessments and manage improvement plans.
  • Lead the plant's HACCP program through training and awareness.
  • Oversee environmental programs, including hazardous waste management, regulatory reporting, and permitting compliance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive improvements, waste reduction, cost savings, and process optimization.
  • Investigate and resolve internal and external quality issues, complaints, and non-conformances.
  • Manage quality operations, including daily activities and supervision of people / processes.
  • Support product trials and customer-driven initiatives to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
  • Administer notification and tracking systems, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation.
  • Monitor material dispositions, returned goods, and related quality metrics to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Provide immediate response or coordination for workplace incidents and medical needs.
  • Ensure adherence to all company, safety, environmental, and GMP policies and procedures.
  • Lead or support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental, Quality, or a related field
  • 1-3+ years of experience in EHS, Quality, or manufacturing environments
  • Experience in flexible packaging manufacturing preferred
  • Working knowledge of safety, environmental, and quality regulations
  • Quality systems experience preferred
  • Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or ability to obtain) preferred
