Job Description




As a Security Officer Badge Desk in INDIANAPOLIS, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location as a Front Desk professional, where you will greet visitors, manage access control, support badge processes, and help address security-related concerns with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location within a financial institution.
  • Monitor lobby and front desk activity, greet and direct visitors, assist with access control procedures, and help to support a professional and orderly arrival experience.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when needed.
  • Maintain awareness of entry points, verify credentials and visitor information according to site policies, and document incidents, observations, and/or requested assistance accurately.
  • Answer phones and front desk inquiries, provide basic site information, and help to address client and visitor concerns in alignment with post instructions and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
