On-Site at our Groton location PURPOSE: We are seeking a motivated IT Co-op/Intern currently enrolled in a relevant academic program to join our team. This role is designed for students who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT environment. No prior work experience is required-just a willingness to learn, problem-solve, and contribute. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide basic technical support to employees (hardware, software, and network-related issues) Assist with setting up and configuring computers, user accounts, and equipment Support IT team with system maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting Help document processes, procedures, and solutions for common issues Participate in IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain data accuracy and assist with system audits as needed EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Currently enrolled in a degree or certification program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field Basic understanding of computer systems, Microsoft Office, and general IT concepts Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Willingness to learn new technologies and take initiative Exposure to networking, hardware troubleshooting, or scripting Familiarity with Windows operating systems or help desk tools WHAT YOU'LL GAIN Hands-on experience in a real-world IT environment Mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals Opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to practical situations Development of technical and professional skills All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
