The Senior Procurement Analyst supports one or more Category Leads by executing sourcing activities, maintaining supplier data, and providing analytical insights. This role is responsible for the development and execution of global Supplier and Category strategies driving long-term improvements in service, quality, cost, delivery, and innovation, enhancing the competitive and commercial performance of Atlas Air. This role is critical in ensuring category strategies are executed effectively and that operational procurement needs are met in real time. The Senior Analyst will work cross-functionally with other areas of the business on tracking supplier performance in accordance with contractual terms and making business decisions as well supporting continuous improvement initiatives to satisfy the business needs.

Major Job Accountabilities:



  • Responsibly for supplier relationships as assigned by Category Lead
  • Develops, maintains, and executes the portfolio of Category and Supplier Strategies.
  • Support Category Leads in sourcing events, supplier onboarding, and contract administration
  • Maintain and analyze category spend data, identifying trends and opportunities
  • Track and report category-specific KPIs (e.g., AOG events, supplier response times, cost metrics)
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support operational needs
  • Assist in maintaining a global supplier database aligned to category requirements
  • Support urgent procurement needs as they occur
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and contract terms
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the category


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MBA or CPM preferred
  • 1-4 years procurement, supply chain or analytics experience required
  • Aviation experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously and maintain tight timelines while meeting targeted savings outcomes.
  • Strong conflict management, problem-solving, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Experience with analytical tools such as MS Excel, Power BI, Smartsheets and Tableau.

Competitive compensation will be offered based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity and other factors. In addition, a range of benefits to include medical, dental and vision insurance, employee assistance program, as well as generous paid time off, and 401K contributions are offered as a part of the total compensation package.
