What You Will Do: The Paid Social Manager will be responsible for planning, activation, budget management, reporting and testing & innovation for assigned brands in the Luxury Division. The Manager will work in tandem with media teams and agency partners to create, execute, innovative strategies across key paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat & Reddit). The candidate must have experience owning digital media strategy and have an innate ability to bridge the gap between data and business insights. They should have a passion for the business of beauty and a profound ability to take complex subject matter, distill the information and communicate business insights across the organization.
- Strategy & Planning: Owns Paid Social strategy and planning for brands. Leads brand-level tactical planning sessions and manages specific brand budgets and actuals. Ensures brand-level alignment with Golden Rules and best practices. Manages Pod budget in alignment with agency partner. Work with brands/vendors on measurement approach to ensure best practice
- Campaign Management & Reporting: Oversees campaign structure and QA for assigned brands to ensure on-time and accurate launches. Leads reporting calls, providing concrete insights and actionable next steps for brand stakeholders. Responsible for implementing process changes across pod and upskilling Assistant Managers.
- Testing & Innovation: Identifies and pitches relevant "Test & Learn" opportunities (e.g., new platform features or multi-cell studies) specifically for their brands. Works with the Senior Manager to align brand tests with the broader divisional learning agenda. Responsible for pod learning agenda to ensure brands are implementing effective measurement strategies.
- Additional Responsibility: Direct People Manager for Assistant Managers and serves as primary POC for brand counterparts. Accountable for a specific SME topic, staying ahead of platform changes and participating in "Le Social Salons" to share knowledge. Coaches AMs on daily operational excellence. Develop strong relationship with agency counterparts
Skills Required:
- Expertise with the Paid Social Advertising ecosystem inclusive of full funnel strategy and execution(hands on keyboard experience a must)
- Ability to implement media best practices to take full advantage of the Paid Social landscape
- A working knowledge of all media channels and the prowess to remain diligent on market trends and market conditions
- Demonstrated understanding of strategic planning and implementation in the digital space
- Strong attention to detail and focus on process especially when managing numerous budgets and reporting to internal team(s)
- Experience working with/ management of agency partners and internal teams
- Ability to translate brand and campaign objectives into strategic optimizations
- Demonstrated understanding of strategic planning, partnership development and program implementation
- Ability to effectively present and persuade within individual or group settings through executive level reporting and communication
- Ability to collaborate effectively and respectfully cross-functionally and create clarity within an emerging capability that touches multiple teams
- Ability to analyze brand and campaign performance, as well as execute and present media investment performance clearly to key stakeholders and leadership
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4-6+years' experiencewith a traditional agency or media-focused role(Paid Social ads experience a must, across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and Snapchat)
- Strong project management skills, including experience managing multipleprojectssimultaneouslyand prioritizing based on business needs and estimated impact
- Experience writingRFP's/ briefing media partners
- Effectively communicate (both verbally and written) with multiple groups, including presentations
- Ability to effectively present and persuade an individual or group or people.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail
- Self-motivated, results and solution oriented, strategic thinker
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
Judgment and Decision Making: This role will require a balance of analytical thinking, communication skills and data management skills as it will require a demonstrated ability to develop consumer knowledge and insight and to act on the data in collaboration with internal brand & external account partners. It requires constant interaction within a matrixed business structure (Marketing, Ecommerce, GM, CMO) to coordinate work and deliver objectives. Actively builds networks and becomes in-house expert on the account to influence, convince, and introduce new ways of engaging our consumers via media. This will require a high level of interpersonal skill and diplomacy and demonstrated ability to justify online priorities and decisions to internal partners. The role will require strong time management, and prioritization skills.
