The Bone & Marrow Transplant Lab is seeking to hire a CTL Lab Manager.

The CTL Lab Manager is responsible for day to day management of the FACT-accredited stem cell processing (SCP) portion of the cellular therapy laboratory (CTL), liaising between the CTL and the clinical stem cell transplantation division, the division of oncology, and other clinical teams. This position will manage a group of approximately five staff. The CTL Lab Manager will oversee and perform as necessary clinical stem cell processing such as cryopreservation, T cell receptor alpha/beta and CD19 depletion, and red blood cell depletion. They will also be responsible for managing logistics supporting commercial gene therapies. Other responsibilities include working collaboratively with other leaders within the CTL and other clinical divisions to ensure the safe delivery of clinical products and performance according to the highest quality standards, participating and/or leading in quality improvement initiatives, utilizing resources effectively, onboarding and training of new and existing staff, bringing ideas and concerns to program leadership, and managing the budget effectively.

Minimum Education
Master's Degree Biology or a related science. (Required)

10 years Related experience (Required)

The disclosed salary range includes the minimum and maximum rates within which Children's National believes an individual's base pay rate will fall for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the maximum of the pay range. The exact pay rate for this position will be based on a variety of factors in alignment with the Children's National compensation philosophy. These factors are legitimate and non-discriminatory including, but not limited to, the current market conditions; organizational needs; the individual's combination of prior work experience, level of education, knowledge, skills, and other qualifications.
