*Location:* Phoenix, AZ *Company:* Build It Right LLC *Type:* Contract (6 months) *Openings:* 2 *Start Date:* May 17, 2026 *Work Schedule:* * *Day Shift:* Saturday-Wednesday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM * *Night Shift:* Saturday-Wednesday (overnight) *Position Overview* Build It Right LLC is seeking experienced *Onsite Safety* *Coordinators* to support active commercial construction projects in the Phoenix metro area. This role works directly in the field to promote a strong safety culture, ensure OSHA compliance, and proactively identify and mitigate jobsite hazards. The Safety Coordinator will partner closely with project leadership and subcontractors to maintain a safe, compliant, and productive work environment. *Key Responsibilities* * Enforce company safety policies, sitespecific safety plans, and OSHA construction standards * Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and hazard assessments * Identify unsafe conditions or behaviors and implement corrective actions * Monitor highrisk activities (fall protection, trenching, scaffolding, confined spaces, crane operations) * Lead or assist with incident, accident, and nearmiss investigations * Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and job hazard analyses (JHAs) * Review subcontractor safety plans and ensure compliance * Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and training records * Support OSHA or thirdparty inspections and audits * Serve as a visible safety presence and advocate for proactive safety practices *Required Qualifications* * 3-5+ years of experience as an onsite Safety Coordinator or Safety Manager in *commercial construction* * *OSHA 30Hour Construction certification (required)* * Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standards * Ability to identify jobsite hazards and enforce corrective measures * Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently in active construction environments *Preferred Qualifications* * OSHA 500/510, CHST, ASP, or CSP certifications * Experience on largescale commercial or multitrade projects * BG or exposure to *lowvoltage or technology installations* * Bilingual (English/Spanish) * Familiarity with safety management software and reporting tools *Physical & Work Environment Requirements* * Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions * Ability to walk active jobsites, climb ladders, and access elevated or confined areas * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs * Willingness to travel between local job sites as needed * Drug test required *Interview Process* * Inperson interview with *Jordan Fagg, Project Manager* *About Build It Right* Build It Right is a familyowned and operated company experiencing continued growth within the *data center and semiconductor* *construction industries*, offering longterm opportunities for safety professionals who value quality, accountability, and teamwork. *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
