Job Title: Field Service Technician

Duration: 3 months Assignment (potential to temp to perm)
Shift/Hours: 40hours/week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break.
Summary:
- Primarily field technician work being dispatched to customer sites.
- IT Field Technician I tasks include driving to client sites and providing general IT support to multiple customers (retailers, banks, etc.), running break-fix and IMAC calls, and supporting clients.
- The level of support will vary depending on the customer but will include printer, laptop, server, network, and other technology devices.
- We are looking for an experienced Laser Printer Technician with hands-on experience working with Lexmark, HP, Plotter, and large format printers and with strong break-fix, hardware repair, and OEM service experience.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
- Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
- Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
- May require an associate's degree or its equivalent and entry level - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
- Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with large format printers, kiosks, and POS systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
- Perform routine maintenance to optimize equipment performance.
- Deliver clear technical assistance to customers onsite and over the phone.
- Maintain accurate service records and uphold quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of printers, computer hardware, and software.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team.
- Physical capability to lift to 50 lbs.

- Is this position remote or in person: In person, will be dispatched to the customer sites.
- What are the TOP 2 required skills that candidates must have: HW repair and break fix {Laser, plotter, and large format printers} and PC/POS.
- What will the work schedule be for this position: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break. However, work may occasionally follow the project schedule, which could include overtime or after-hours as needed

- Will there be shift differentials: No, but if you work late, you may adjust your start time the following day.
