Job Overview: Provide administrative and travel support services to Naval Special Warfare Command. The Administrative Travel Specialist is responsible for Defense Travel System (DTS) processing, travel voucher preparation, Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) administration, and ensuring compliance with Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and applicable federal travel policies. Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review and correct travel documentation and maintain data from the Defense Travel System (DTS).
- Perform administrative services and assist with Naval Special Warfare Defense Travel System daily deployment reporting input and verification status updates.
- Process all Temporary Assigned Duty (TAD) travel requests and "no cost orders" for command personnel.
- Process data from DTS reports.
- Assist with military and civilian travel payments, voucher preparation, and administrative maintenance of DTS.
- Analyze and audit travel reimbursement vouchers for completeness and accuracy.
- Screen and verify all receipts for vouchers in DTS.
- Serve as a liaison with the Consolidated Travel Office (CTO) for arrangement of travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
- Assist in processing travel voucher submissions via DTS; ensure vouchers comply with Joint Travel Regulations (JTR); contact travelers regarding receipt or erroneous documentation required for payment processing.
- Provide technical travel and DTS guidance to military personnel for deployments and special exercises.
- Train travel personnel in a high turnover environment.
- Serve as a Non-DTS Entry Agent (NDEA).
- Serve as an alternate Agency Program Coordinator (APC) supporting all functions associated with the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC).
- Track, follow-up, and file documentation supporting letters of appointment (DD577).
- Review and route cross-org requests for approval.
- Monitor travel/GTCC balances for NSWG-8 senior leadership command.
- Assist Agency Program Coordinators (APCs) with Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) functions.
- Compile and analyze data to identify trends, deficiencies, and accomplishments related to assigned programs.
- Perform research to determine reasons for patterns of transaction errors and failures.
- Research problems surfaced by customers; resolve issues or route to appropriate Government personnel with information setting forth research findings.
- Produce clear and concise reports and correspondence in prescribed formats, including military format when necessary.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements/Education:
- Minimum of four (4) years of DoD travel processing experience within the past ten (10) years.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) within the past ten (10) years.
- Proficiency in common/standard business software programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge and ability to interpret and understand established policies, procedures, and philosophies pertaining to federal travel regulations.
- Experience with Federal Government systems and requirements for maintaining access to these systems.
- Possess a valid state driver's license.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience with Naval Special Warfare or Special Operations Command travel administration.
- Experience as Agency Program Coordinator (APC) or Non-DTS Entry Agent (NDEA).
- Familiarity with Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and DoD Financial Management Regulations.
Security Requirement:
- Active SECRET Security Clearance.
