Pay Range: $115,200 - $138,200

Job Summary

The Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for protecting enterprise technology environments by designing, implementing, and operating cybersecurity controls across IT and OT contexts. This role delivers threat detection and monitoring capabilities, vulnerability management, incident response support, security architecture guidance, and risk assessment activities aligned with security governance and compliance expectations.

The position partners with IT, OT, operations, and business stakeholders to strengthen operational security through policy enforcement, network segmentation, NAC governance, and ongoing improvements to security posture while supporting business continuity and risk-informed decision-making.

Essential Functions

  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls to protect systems, networks, and data in alignment with security governance and operational security standards
  • Execute vulnerability management activities, including vulnerability scanning support, prioritization, remediation coordination, and verification of corrective actions
  • Support incident response activities, including triage support, containment coordination, root cause participation, and post-incident follow-up
  • Perform security monitoring and threat detection activities by analyzing alerts, events, and indicators in collaboration with internal teams and external partners as applicable
  • Contribute to security architecture by advising on secure design patterns, control selection, and implementation approaches for systems and networks
  • Support IT/OT security objectives by reinforcing IT/OT separation, network segmentation practices, and operational security controls within industrial environments
  • Administer or support NAC governance and access enforcement mechanisms consistent with approved standards and policy requirements
  • Conduct risk assessment activities, including control reviews, security framework alignment, and remediation tracking
  • Support compliance requirements through evidence collection, control validation, documentation, and participation in governance processes
  • Apply security governance and policy enforcement practices by operationalizing standards, procedures, and control requirements across relevant environments
  • Serve as a senior technical resource for security engineering, including advanced vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response coordination
  • Lead technical analysis during incidents, including containment recommendations, evidence review, and coordination with stakeholders
  • Perform security architecture reviews for systems and network changes, including IT/OT separation considerations and segmentation guidance
  • Conduct and document risk assessments aligned to security frameworks and compliance requirements; track remediation plans and milestones
  • Provide guidance to others on policy enforcement, operational security controls, and monitoring best practices
  • Other duties as assigned

Essential Functions (Continued)
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of relevant experience in security engineering, threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response
  • Demonstrated capability supporting IT/OT separation requirements and network segmentation practices
  • Experience conducting risk assessments aligned to security frameworks
  • Familiarity with industrial cybersecurity concepts and exposure to SCADA/PLC/HMI environments
  • Ability to apply governance and compliance standards through operational controls

Preferred Education and Experience Requirements

  • Experience supporting OT security assessments, industrial automation security, and IT/OT separation controls
  • Demonstrated collaboration with a SOC or managed security provider on investigations and response activities
