Registered Nurse - PACU
Bethesda, Maryland Pay From: $47.00 per hour MUST: Experienced Registered Nurse 3 plus years of experience as a Registered Nurse Must have 3 plus years Pre-Op/PACU Nursing within orthopedic Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Maryland Must have an active BLS and ACLs DUTIES: Registered Nurse will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Perform pre-operative patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history Verify patient identity, surgical procedure, and consent forms Start IV lines and administer medications as ordered Educate patients and families about the surgical process and expectations Ensure all pre-op documentation and checklists are complete Communicate patient status to the surgical team Monitor patients for any changes before surgery Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
