Overview Nakupuna Consulting is looking for a Mail Security Screener who will be responsible for performing security screening operations in support of the Pentagon Force Protection Agency's (PFPA) force protection mission. Receive and inspect incoming United States Postal Service Mail and Commercial Carrier parcels for CBRNE threats
Qualifications Skills/Qualifications: CBRNE and/or HAZMAT knowledge preferred, organizational and planning skills, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy, solid judgment and decision-making ability, ability to work in a high stress environment, initiative, adaptability. Must have a valid driver's license. Education/Experience: This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED as well as one (1) year of professional experience. Military, CBRNE, and physical security experience is highly desirable. Clearance Requirements: This position requires an active Secret security clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen. This federal government project is subject to the Service Contract Act (SCA). The hourly rate for this position is determined by the location where work is performed. In addition to hourly pay, positions subject to SCA are entitled to a health and welfare (H&W) payment, which may be adjusted based employee selection of company benefits in lieu of H&W. The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market rates commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation rate for this position is $24.07 per hour.
