JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Sr. Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in maximizing revenue and driving dynamic pricing strategy across ticketing products and fan segments. Using statistical modeling and machine learning, this role will measure price elasticity, forecast revenue, and predict customer demand. The position will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Service, Marketing, and Operations, to deploy scalable data science tooling, drive decision-making, and optimize sales.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Implement and manage dynamic pricing mechanismstoadjust ticket prices in real-time based on factors such as team performance, opponent strength, and event timing.
  • Utilize models and data analysis toidentifypricing trends,optimizeticket prices, and forecast revenue potential for various seating categories.
  • Managethe end-to-enddata science lifecycle from model design, development, deployment, maintenance, and modelupdates.
  • Provideexpertise, analysis,and guidance for promotional campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall pricing strategies.
  • Effectively collaborate with business partners to communicate findings and understand key pricing problems and define strategic priorities.
  • Partner closely with the Data Engineering team to structure,validate, andoptimizedata pipelines and data models for analysis and resolve any data discrepancy.
  • Build and maintain SQL-based views across data warehouses, ensuring suitability for reporting, accuracy, performance, and data integrity.
  • Communicate findings and next steps to leadership.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

Education:



  • BA/BS Degree in mathematics, engineering, physics, or related quantitative field


Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree inmathematics, engineering,physics,or relatedquantitativefield
  • 2+ years' experience as a data scientist, pricing analyst, data analyst, or equivalent
  • Data Science certificationrequired,master's degree indatascience,statistics,computerscience,engineering,economics,analytics ora relatedquantitativefieldpreferred
  • Expertise inSQL, statistical programming (Python) and Spark
  • ExperienceworkingwithMLOps workflows andplatforms,includingDatabricks,Azure ML,SageMaker or similartools ispreferred.
  • Rigorous attention-to-detail, keen critical thinking skills, and pragmatic problem-solving mindset
  • Strongstatisticalknowledge andproven experiencedevelopingforecasting, demandprediction,anddynamicpricing models,anddriving revenue outcomes in a data-driven, agile organization.
  • Strong communicationskills and ability to work with all levels of employees; must be able to communicate technical aspects tonon-technical team members
  • Ability to work independently toaccomplishworkobjectives, while also thriving in a team environment
  • Experience or interest in sports/live entertainment a plus



Payscale: $79,000 - $100,000

Bonus:This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
