Job Description

The Senior Finance Manager - Intelligent Packaged Power (IPP) leads a team of 3 direct reports. You will be the primary finance leader supporting the newly formed Intelligent Packaged Power (IPP) business within the Intelligent Devices (ITD) segment. You will partner with the Vice President & General Manager, IPP and the entire IPP leadership team to lead financial rigor, transparency, and decision support. You will be accountable for endtoend financial management, including planning, forecasting, performance management, and strategic analysis, while ensuring alignment with enterprise financial policies and internal controls.

Your Responsibilities:

Business Partnership & Strategic Support

  • Be the lead finance partner to IPP business leadership, providing insight, thoughtful challenges, and guidance on financial and operational decisions.
  • Support business strategy development, investment prioritization, and growth programs for the IPP portfolio.
  • Partner with crossfunctional teams to support the ongoing financial integration of the Cubic acquisition.
  • Translate complex financial results into clear, applicable insights for executive and functional partners.

Financial Planning & Performance Management

  • Lead annual financial operating plan, forecast, and longrange planning processes for the IPP business.
  • Manage financial reviews, including variance analysis versus plan, forecast, and prior year.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess profitability, cost structure, and business health.

Commercial & Project Finance

  • Provide financial support for IPP commercial activities, including pricing, margins, deal structure, and project economics.
  • Evaluate financial risks and returns for IPP projects, including multiyear and complex customer arrangements.
  • Partner with sales, operations, and engineering to ensure financial outcomes are understood and optimized.

Governance, Controls & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and financial governance requirements.
  • Support revenue recognition, cost accounting, and reserve processes with corporate controllership.
  • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation actions.

Process Improvement & Business Scaling

  • Build financial processes, models, and reporting to support a growing and evolving IPP business.
  • Improve standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across planning and reporting activities.
  • Support integration and alignment of broader ITD finance processes and systems.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Provide mentorship and direction to analysts or extended finance resources supporting IPP and the entire ITD segment.
  • Collaborate across ITD finance, corporate finance, and crossfunctional teams to ensure understanding and consistency.
  • Be a trusted finance leader during periods of change, growth, and increased complexity.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • The ability to travel 10% of the time.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • MBA or CPA.
  • 5+ years of progressive finance experience, including business partnering and financial planning.
  • Experience summarizing data into executivelevel insights.
  • Experience supporting complex businesses, projects, or solutionbased offerings.
  • Experience supporting new or evolving businesses.
  • Background in industrial, technology, or projectbased environments.
  • Experience working within a matrixed, global organization.
