Overview:


To oversee the coordination, implementation, and entertainment provided by the recreation team from May-September.



Responsibilities:



  • Enthusiastically greet and converse with guests
  • Promote all programs
  • Maintain clear communication with essential departments
  • Actively participate in the assurance of the safety and fun of all programs
  • Assist with general Resort duties as assigned
  • Treat everyone, managers, associates and guests with courtesy and respect at all times
  • Become efficient with the Point Of Sales system and Open Course
  • Assist with routine cleaning of all recreation areas and equipment (sweeping, mopping, picking up, organizing and keeping track of inventory)
  • Cross utilize in all areas of recreation when scheduled to do so
  • Complete daily checklists in their entirety
  • Properly complete recreation agreements as needed


Qualifications:



  • Must have excellent customer service skills and possess the ability to go above and beyond to please guests
  • Must be able to clearly communicate with other associates, management and guests
  • Position requires accounting skills, filing and creating reports - must be computer literate, organized and able to multi-task
  • Must be able to walk, run, push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel and stand for long periods of time. Position requires ability to be mobile, possess clear or corrected vision and ability to hear - will provide tours for guests, demonstrate recreation activities and build relationships with groups.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
