Tesla is accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy and autonomy. We are looking for a Mobile App Engineer to help build the next generation of our Service & Roadside Assistance experience, and extend it into the Robotaxi era. As a key contributor on the Tesla Mobile App team, you will develop and maintain critical cross-platform features that let owners and fleet operators schedule service, request roadside assistance, monitor real-time vehicle health, and interact with autonomous Robotaxi fleets, all from a single, high-performance mobile experience. This is a rare opportunity to shape how millions of drivers and riders interact with Tesla's service and roadside assistance ecosystem through mobile technology.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and ship intuitive cross-platform mobile features for service scheduling, roadside assistance, AI assisted customer support, and Robotaxi fleet management
- Integrate with backend services, third-party APIs, vehicle telematics, and autonomy systems to surface real-time health, location, and diagnostic data
- Implement robust unit, integration, and UI testing to ensure reliability across iOS and Android
- Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, legal, vehicle software, and autonomy teams in a fast-paced environment
- Own features end-to-end, from concept and architecture through deployment and iteration
What You'll Bring
- Strong experience building production iOS and Android applications with a cross-platform approach
- Deep understanding of mobile networking, RESTful APIs, real-time data, and state management
- Proven ability to ship high-quality, performant mobile experiences used by large user bases
- Self-driven mindset with the ability to own projects from concept to production
- Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Proficiency in React Native and TypeScript preffered
- Experience with native iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin) development preffered
- Familiarity with Firebase, push notifications, location services, and mobile testing frameworks preffered
- Interest or experience related to vehicle telematics, autonomy, or fleet management systems
- Passion for Tesla's mission and the future of Robotaxi

Expected Compensation
$140,000 - $300,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
