The Director, Accounting is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing specific accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and enforcing regulatory and company policies while driving continuous improvement in accounting operations. This role provides leadership to the Accounting team, and their specific business unit, while partnering cross-functionally to support business objectives.

Your Impact



  • Oversees accounting operations including payroll, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed assets
  • Supports strategic planning and decision-making by delivering accurate financial insights and reporting
  • Optimizes accounting processes through automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity and alignment with business objectives
  • Manages financial risk and compliance by maintaining strong internal controls and adhering to regulatory standards
  • Engages with senior leadership and external stakeholders to communicate financial performance and strategic impact

Required Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required
  • At least 5 years' experience in corporate accounting
  • Experience in a leadership role


Preferred Qualifications:



  • CPA certification

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Highspring believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure to be between the range below. The individual may also be eligible for a variety of bonus and financial incentives based on individual and company performance.
