Job Description

Position Summary:

Drivers are expected to follow and execute predetermined routes to move material between facility buildings and local suppliers. While a class A license is not required for drivers, a clean driving record is required of all drivers. Drivers will demonstrate an ability to perform a daily vehicle inspection, read shippers and verify that their load is aligned with the records in hand. They must also be able to operate a forklift and have the ability to safely load and unload material onto their truck as well as perform a thorough visual inspection verifying that there is no identifiable part defects or damage. Typically 1-2 years of experience.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Pick-up and deliver various items and products
  • Loading and unloading of goods
  • Accurate checking of orders
  • Management of on-time delivery
  • Arrange timely shipping of product
  • Maintenance of up-to-date shipping and receiving information in the network
  • Timely packaging/unpacking of product for safe delivery to customer or processing
  • Adhere to all company policies
  • Other duties as assigned
  • 35lbs lifting

Drivers are expected to maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area by following all safety standards, expectations, and quality practices. Required Skills:

  • Warehouse/Manufacturing Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, interpret, and verbally communicate documents effectively.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Reasoning Ability: Able to apply reasoning skills and understanding to carry out instructions presented in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks with urgency and sound business judgment.
  • Regulatory & Instruction Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret job-related instructions and legal knowledge requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with internal teams, suppliers, shipping agents, couriers, and occasionally government officials.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient with computers and software, including Microsoft Excel; data processing skills are valued.
  • Forklift Certification: Must possess valid forklift certification.

Required Experience:

Forklift Operation: Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.

DOT Certification (Preferred): DOT certification is a plus and may support transportation-related duties.

Route Navigation: Experience navigating delivery routes efficiently and safely.

Level of Education:

Education Requirement: High school diploma or GED required.

Preferred Training: Certificate from a technical school or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $21.00 to $26.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
