This role supports an enterprise initiative focused on resolving supplier payment issues and preventing recurring delays. The Supplier Resolution Support professional serves as a central coordinator between Procurement, Accounts Payable, internal business owners, and external suppliers to resolve aging, blocked, and highpriority invoices.
This is not a transactional AP role. Instead, the position emphasizes rootcause analysis, crossfunctional coordination, and actionable recommendations to improve upstream processes and ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time. Job Duties & Responsibilities * Act as the primary point of coordination between Procurement, Accounts Payable, Business Owners, and Suppliers to resolve payment issues * Investigate and resolve blocked, late, or aging invoices by gathering missing or inaccurate information required for payment release * Identify common trends, patterns, and root causes driving recurring invoice and payment issues * Analyze AP payment blockers, including missing invoices, 3way match issues, receiving discrepancies, and pricing mismatches * Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders (including managers and directors) and external suppliers * Track issues through resolution and ensure proper followthrough across all involved teams * Provide recommendations for process improvements to prevent future payment delays * Maintain organized documentation of issues, resolutions, and recurring themes Required Experience * Experience serving as a crossfunctional coordinator between Procurement, Accounts Payable, business teams, and suppliers * Proven success resolving blocked, aging, or late supplier invoices * Strong understanding of common AP payment blockers and invoice resolution workflows * Demonstrated ability to perform rootcause analysis and identify systemic process issues * Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage with leadership and external suppliers * Strong execution and followthrough skills in a fastpaced, issuedriven environment Preferred / NicetoHave Experience * Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft * Exposure to airline or transportation industry environments * Familiarity with TrAX Inventory System * Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft 365 tools Work Environment * Primarily onsite role based in SeaTac, WA * Potential hybrid option after an initial onsite period (3 days onsite / 2 remote) * Highly collaborative, fastpaced environment focused on issue resolution * Frequent interaction with internal stakeholders at varying levels and external suppliers Top Skills * Crossfunctional collaboration * Invoice and payment issue resolution * Rootcause analysis and trend identification * Stakeholder communication * Execution and followthrough *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of SeaTac, WA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
