Position Overview: The role of the Machinist is to operate and maintain lathes, milling machines and/or grinders on a variety of manual and/or CNC controlled equipment. The Machinist is responsible for reviewing drawings, instructions, and prints to ensure accurate production of precision bearings. Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidates will be considered at Level I, II, or III based on education, experience, and demonstrated capability. Machinist I: High school diploma or equivalent and 0+ years machining experience using mills, lathes, and/or grinders. Machinist II: High school diploma or equivalent. If less than 8 years' experience, Technical Diploma, Associate Degree in related field, and/or Journeyman Machinist required. If 8+ experience, no additional education required. Machinist III: High school diploma or equivalent and Associate Degree, Technical Diploma in a related field and/or Journeyman Machinist card. 8+ years machining experience using mills, lathes, and grinders.
