Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Striping Foreman to lead pavement marking operations on roads, parking lots, and other paved surfaces. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day crew activities, ensuring quality striping work, maintaining safety on site, and communicating effectively with project managers and clients. The ideal candidate has hands-on striping experience, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering projects on time and efficiency standards



Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    Supervise and coordinate all activities of the striping crew
  • Interpret project plans, layouts, and striping specifications
  • Lead layout and application of pavement markings including paint and thermoplastic
  • Operate and oversee use of striping equipment, sprayers, hand liners, and stencils
  • Set up traffic control and work zones according to safety regulations
  • Ensure markings are applied accurately, consistently, and to proper thickness
  • Train and mentor laborers and operators in proper striping techniques and safety practices
  • Maintain and troubleshoot striping equipment and materials
  • Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and clients to ensure expectations are met
  • Track daily production, material usage, labor hours, and complete job reports
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, MUTCD, and company standards
  • Enforce safety policies and conduct daily safety meetings
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Qualifications (Experience, Education & Certifications, Key Attributes):

  • 2+ years of experience in striping or pavement marking
  • 1+ year of leadership or crew lead experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of paint and thermoplastic striping applications
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and striping plans
  • Familiarity with MUTCD standards and DOT requirements
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
  • Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
  • Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area
