Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Sealcoat Foreman to lead our crew in the professional preparation and application of asphalt sealant. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing daily job site activities, managing crew performance, and ensuring every project-from residential driveways to commercial roadways-is completed to our exacting standards.



Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    Monitor and measure daily yields and ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during work, reporting to superintendent as needed.
  • Complete detailed daily reports using construction management software, including tracking work performed, materials used, and labor hours for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Enforce safety policies and ensure all crew members wear required PPE
  • Communicating with the Superintendents ensure project specifications and deadlines are met.
  • Assist in the preparation of surfaces for crack filling or sealcoating.
  • Preparation of surface utilizing an asphalt crack cleaner to open surface cracks prior to filling.
  • Application of crack fill material utilizing a crack seal kettle wand and/or a crack seal melting pot.
  • Application of seal coat material utilizing a long-handled squeegee and/or spray wand.
  • Manual labor includes shoveling, brooming, and raking.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks required
  • Availability to work 8-12+ hours a day and travel weekly/overnight.
  • Assist in other general labor duties as assigned.
  • Must be a reliable team player that shows up on time and has a strong work ethic.
  • Have attention to detail, ability to follow instructions from leadership, and have great communication skills
  • Ensure all equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored properly after each shift
  • Troubleshoot issues on-site and coordinate with management as needed


Qualifications (Experience, Education & Certifications, Key Attributes):

  • 2+ years of sealcoating or asphalt maintenance experience required
  • 1+ years in a supervisory or crew lead role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of sealcoat materials, spray and squeegee applications, surface prep, and traffic control
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read work orders, layout jobs, and plan efficient execution
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus
  • Comfortable working outdoors in heat and fast-paced environments
  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physical labor daily
  • Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
  • Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area
