The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

We are seeking a visionary and transformational Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead the global marketing strategy for Informatica, a Salesforce company. This role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in enterprise data management - including data integration, master data management, quality, governance, and metadata - and a proven ability to build high-performing marketing organizations that drive growth at scale.

Informatica plays a foundational role in Salesforce's vision for the Agentic Enterprise. As organizations deploy AI agents across every workflow, trusted, connected, and governed data becomes the defining competitive advantage. The CMO will shape and amplify Informatica's position as the trusted data foundation that provides the context AI requires to act intelligently and responsibly.

This executive will partner closely with the Informatica product leadership, and Salesforce data and AI executives (Data Cloud, MuleSoft, Tableau, Agentforce) to define the strategic narrative, accelerate pipeline, and elevate brand leadership within the global enterprise data market.

The ideal candidate blends strategic vision, operational rigor, deep domain expertise, and the ability to lead within a highly matrixed, global organization.

Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy aligned with Informatica's product roadmap and Salesforce's broader Data + AI vision.

  • Define Informatica's role in enabling enterprise context - positioning data integration, MDM, quality, and governance as foundational to AI readiness.

  • Champion a data-driven marketing culture, using analytics and AI to continuously optimize performance.

  • Anticipate industry trends across AI, governance, data modernization, and cloud transformation to ensure market leadership.

Pipeline & Demand Generation
  • Build and scale a world-class demand generation engine that fuels enterprise pipeline growth.

  • Develop integrated, multi-channel campaigns targeting CIOs, CDOs, enterprise architects, and data leaders.

  • Partner closely with sales leadership to align on strategic account priorities and improve conversion and velocity.

  • Drive account-based marketing strategies aligned to Global 2000 growth objectives.

Marketing Operations & Analytics
  • Build a scalable, AI-powered marketing operations function.

  • Implement rigorous measurement frameworks to track performance, optimize ROI, and inform investment strategy.

  • Create a unified view of the customer journey across Salesforce and Informatica touchpoints.

  • Ensure marketing technology and automation platforms are leveraged to maximize impact.

Product Marketing & Portfolio Positioning
  • Partner with product and engineering to articulate compelling value propositions for data integration, MDM, quality, governance, and metadata management.

  • Develop cohesive portfolio narratives that connect Informatica with Data Cloud, MuleSoft, Tableau, and Agentforce.

  • Lead go-to-market strategy for product launches and major innovations.

  • Equip sales with clear, outcome-oriented messaging and enablement tools.

Thought Leadership & The Context Narrative
  • Establish Informatica as the definitive authority on trusted enterprise data in the era of AI.

  • Elevate the narrative that data is the foundation of context - and context is what powers effective AI agents.

  • Represent Informatica at global events, executive forums, and industry conferences.

  • Develop thought leadership content that positions Salesforce as the leader in enabling the Agentic Enterprise.

Brand Stewardship
  • Strengthen Informatica's brand presence within the Salesforce ecosystem.

  • Ensure consistent, differentiated messaging across all channels.

  • Cultivate strong brand affinity with enterprise data leaders.

  • Partner with Salesforce Corporate Marketing to maximize brand impact.

Ecosystem & Community Engagement
  • Engage deeply with enterprise data practitioners and architect communities.

  • Develop programs that foster collaboration, innovation, and customer advocacy.

  • Leverage ecosystem partnerships to expand market reach and influence.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Build and lead a high-performing, global marketing organization.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

  • Attract and retain world-class marketing talent.

  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and professional development.

Budget Management
  • Develop and manage a global marketing budget aligned to growth priorities.

  • Ensure disciplined investment allocation and transparent reporting.

  • Drive measurable impact across pipeline, revenue, and brand equity.

Requirements
  • 15+ years of progressive B2B enterprise marketing leadership experience.

  • Proven success leading global marketing organizations within enterprise data, integration, analytics, governance, or AI platforms.

  • Deep understanding of modern data architecture and AI readiness requirements.

  • Experience operating in highly matrixed, global organizations.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth.

  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence at C-level and board level.

  • Passion for enabling enterprises to build trusted, AI-ready data foundations.
