Aquent Talent is partnering with a globally recognized leader in creating groundbreaking experiences that inspire and connect. This innovative company is at the forefront of shaping culture and lifestyle, delivering unparalleled content and products to millions worldwide. Join a team that thrives on creativity, precision, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible, where your contributions directly influence how captivating visual stories are brought to life.

Role: Photo Studio Coordinator

Location: Culver City, CA (On-site 3 days/week)

The Vibe: We are looking for the "Air Traffic Controller" of our client's flagship LA photo studio. This isn't a role for someone who wants to be behind the lens; it's for the person who ensures the lens is pointed in the right direction at the right time. Supporting Music content, you will be the primary liaison between high-profile artists, their management, and our creative team. You are the "splitter"-the person who filters communication so the photographers can stay focused on the craft.

What You'll Do:

  • Talent Liaison & "Air Traffic Control": Act as the onsite point of contact for Artist Relations, translating schedule shifts into actionable plans for the studio team.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage the daily "Tetris" of a three-story flagship studio, ensuring a seamless journey for 50-75 artists per month.
  • Editorial Selection (The "Photo Edit"): Conduct fast-paced photo selects (picking the best shots) for real-time delivery to artist teams; no heavy retouching required, but a strong editorial eye is a must.
  • Workflow Management: Oversee artist approval tracks, document feedback, and manage the flow of imagery from capture to delivery.
  • Gear & Space Curation: Maintain a "beautiful and organized" gear closet; monitor equipment health and handle logistics when gear needs repair or refreshing.

What You Bring:

  • Studio Pedigree: Experience working in high-volume, high-profile environments (e.g., specialized photo agencies, or as a Studio Manager for a major commercial/celebrity photographer).
  • High EQ/Client Facing: You are comfortable and professional when interacting with celebrity talent and their management.
  • Independence: A self-starter who doesn't need a manual to solve a problem when the schedule changes 10 times in an hour.
  • Technical Literacy: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically for selecting/exporting files) and an understanding of professional photography workflows and equipment.
  • Process-Oriented: You don't just follow workflows; you enjoy building or improving them.
